Software on Lectern PCs

All LRAT lectern PCs feature the same software applications. These are standard applications such as the  Microsoft Office - 2007 , selected specialist applications including SPSS , open-source tools like jEdit and viewers and media players. The standard setup was last updated  in August 2011. All  of our PCs feature the Windows 7 operating system. We welcome suggestions for additions (preferably free software or that covered by a University site licence).. Please contact us through the TAMU Helpline x43322 or to us by email at lrathire@bham.ac.uk  with your suggestions.

Lectern PCs in teaching clusters (Strathcona Building, ERI Language Labs and the Learning Centre) are configured to be the same as the cluster PCs used by the students, and are not imaged by LRAT.
