Pilot Lecture Capture Services

Over 30 centrally managed teaching rooms are equiipped with lecture capture systems. This service is a pilot to assess competing technologies.

Two systems are being evaluated - Echo360 and Panopto..

Echo360 is available in 9 lecture theatres ; Panopto is available in over 20 teaching spaces and as a self-service / portable solution, whereby any University computer can be loaded with the software and fitted with a simple camera and used for capture.

Registering for and Learning how to use Panopto or Echo360 (together branded 'DejaView')

Both systems use on-site streaming media servers as their delivery platform.
