Off-air recordings are recordings made of television programs delivered via FreeView. LRAT can record programs for academic purposes, providing 2 working days notice is given. We are unable to record programs on subscription channels. We cannot record programs after they have been broadcast - even if they are available through services such as the iPlayer.
iPlayer radio programs can be recorded simply on a PC or Mac using a recording tool such as Audacity. TV programs can be obtained through the TRILT service administered by Library Services.
We can no longer record programs from other countries in Europe.
